The 2012 Upstate SC Autism Forum is proud to announce the Opening Speakers for this years forum. Rixon Lane is the brother of a sibling with autism.  He will talk about the challenges and rewards of having a sibling with autism. Karen Driscoll is a Marine Corp wife and mother of a child with autism. She will be discussing Autism and its impact on the Military Family. Dr. Jane Charles from MUSC in Charleston will be discussing Autism research being conducted at MUSC and the prevalence numbers just released by the CDC. Dr. Robin Kowalski will be discussing Cyber-Bullying-Bullying in the Digital Age. Dr. Jane Roberts from the University of SC will also be discussing several autism research projects taking place at USC. More speakers are on tap, a resource fair and Jim Hardin will be singing the song he wrote called Light It Up Blue during this years presentation of the SC Faces of Autism Video.
